A Stormy Day for Tree Planting and a BBQ

Well the weather was great for planting trees given the rain for soaking the soil, but not so good for encouraging people to come out and help nor for holding our first BBQ.

Nevertheless enough people came along to get 5 trees in, with only a few left to go.

If anyone can help out tomorrow morning (Thurs 22nd Nov) Evette and Leanne would certainly appreciate the help - 8:30 start time.

Well done to today's tree planters for a great effort:

Leanne (Council Liasion Officer and volunteer

Andy - Council worker who got roped in as a volunteer

Evette - Resident

Janet - Resident

Emily - Resident

Brian - Resident

Ian - Resident

Site Foreman walks the hole checking the worker's efforts
